Born in Mount Holly, Yazmin was a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Rancocas Valley Regional High School. During her time at Rancocas Valley, she was an avid cheerleader and softball player, winning the national cheerleading championship her junior year, her obituary said.

She is survived by three children: Shawn Rogers, Syenna Smith, and Keem Young; her parents Ed and Griselle Silva of Lumberton; her brother, Nicholas Middleton; her sister, Jocelyn Silva; and her grandfather, Angel Rodriguez 

Services will be held privately.
