Wrestler Max Murin signs with Iowa

EBENSBURG -- One of the top high school wrestlers in Pennsylvania is headed to the University of Iowa. Central Cambria senior Max Murin made it official Wednesday, signing his letter of intent. Murin is a two-time state finalist, winning the 2015 PIAA championship at 113 pounds.

Murin is a two-time state finalist, winning the 2015 PIAA championship at 113 pounds.

He told 6 Sports Iowa has always been his dream school.

"They have an awesome legacy and wrestling has been a tradition there for years," Murin said.

The senior will look to become a three-time state finalist later this season.
