Police said they were dispatched to a home on Chestnut Street in DuBois Monday, where a man and woman were found dead in an upstairs bedroom.

DuBois police said they were notified by a family member who found them around 11 a.m.

Clearfield County Coroner Kim Shaffer-Snyder identified the pair as Ashley Ross, 24, of Clarington, and Nathan Forbes, 41, of DuBois.

Autopsies were performed Tuesday. Shaffer-Snyder said there was no apparent foul play and toxicology results are pending.

"This incident right now is in the hands of the coroner waiting on toxicology reports," said DuBois City Police Chief Blaine Clark. "Once we get it back, we'll be able to make a determination of what the cause of death was."

Clark said Ross and Forbes were in a relationship.

They said carbon monoxide poisoning has been ruled out as a cause of death.
