NEW ORLEANS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Superfly Productions has announced the 2007 "Superfly during Jazzfest" concert series. The series will take place from Saturday, April 28 through Saturday, May 5 at several signature New Orleans venues, including the Contemporary Arts Center (site of the earliest Superfly shows) and the Riverboat Cajun Queen, among many others. Confirmed shows are listed below, with additional shows to be announced soon. As usual, the festival's 11th annual installment will present top national talent alongside some of the best acts from New Orleans' music scene.

Conceived in 1997, the Superfly during Jazzfest Concert Series eventually attracted thousands of fans from all over the country, and became the foundation for such iconic national events as the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival and Vegoose. The popular series has presented live music fans with creative entertainment options throughout the past 10 festival seasons, and will continue to offer memorable events in the company's birthplace for years to come.

"Even though New York is where the company is located now, New Orleans is very much our spiritual home," says series co-founder Rick Farman. "New Orleans truly inspires so much of what we do at all our events around the country and we always feel incredibly strong ties to the community." Superfly acknowledges its presenting sponsor, StubHub, for making the 2006 series possible and for providing a marketplace for fans to buy and sell tickets for all Superfly events.

Superfly During Jazzfest 2007 will include a performance at the renovated Contemporary Arts Center: A show on Saturday, May 5, with Gov't Mule and a rare appearance by Dr. John's Night Tripper.
