After welcoming two baby groundhogs in March, Punxsutawney Phil and wife, Phyllis, have announced the names of their children Sunday morning.
In an Instagram post by the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club, members of the Inner Circle gathered to announce the names of the boy and girl groundhogs.
Inner Circle members said in the post that they wanted to thank the community for their input and support in giving name suggestions for the pups.
The post said that The Groundhog Club reviewed the name suggestions with Phil and introduced the babies with their new names; a girl, Sunny, and a boy, Shadow.
