A man who killed a Texas attorney that reportedly intervened during a dispute over a McDonald's order was identified.

Houston police said on Thursday that 57-year-old Anthony Martin Landry is facing a murder charge following the death of Jeffrey Wayne Limmer.

Limmer was trying to calm down an angry customer who became upset with his order, according to detectives KTRK spoke with.

Landry, the "angry customer," shot Limmer after a verbal disagreement, according to police.

The 46-year-old victim was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds at the McDonald's at 8147 Katy Freeway.

Thursday's update provided a prior booking photo of Landry.

Landry remains at large after he fled the scene.

He was last seen driving in an early 2000s blue Ford pickup truck, according to police.

Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads Landry's arrest.

Homicide detectives can be reached at 713-308-8600 for tips on Landry's whereabouts.

Limmer's sister, Jennifer Thomas, told KTRK her brother was known for helping others. She called her brother a "good Samaritan" who was "trying to do the right thing."
