BIOGRAPHY
Jordan Patrick is a young Australian-Scottish actor with a very recent and short career in the industry that has earned him public recognition. He was born in Scotland but his family quickly moved to Australia and it was there that Patrick became interested in acting. His debut on screen came in 2006 with the children’s series Why Me? where he played a bully. Later he was part of The Ruins (2008), a horror film where he shared credits with Jenna Malone and Jonathan Tucker. Next, he was in another children’s series called H2O: Mermaids of the Sea (2006-2010) during its final season. On the other hand, he gained some popularity when he joined the local soap opera Neighbors which, although it ran between 2009 and 2013, has been broadcast since 1985. Later he was included in Unbreakable (2014), a film directed by Angelina Jolie and which was nominated for three Oscar awards, among them, for best photography. He was recently part of the series Vikings (2013-), where he plays Ubbe. Furthermore, in real life, Jordan is the boyfriend of actress Sophie Vavasseur, who plays Ellisif, Ubbe’s fiancee.
His upcoming project is titled Lovecraft Country (2019-), and it is a fantasy and horror series produced by HBO, JJ Abrams and Jordan Peele.
