PITTSBURGH (WJAC) Organizers say a Garth Brooks concert in May will be the largest event ever to be held at Heinz Field. Officials say the concert, scheduled for May 18, is set to break the attendance record for the Pittsburgh Stadium after 72,887 tickets were sold.

Officials say the concert, scheduled for May 18, is set to break the attendance record for the Pittsburgh Stadium after 72,887 tickets were sold.

According to a release, the previous record was set Sept. 10, 2016, with 69,983 tickets for the University of Pittsburgh versus Penn State University football game.
