Born May 31, 1976 in Castleknock, Dublin, Ireland, Colin James Farrell comes from a family of athletes. His father, Eamon Farrell, was a professional footballer who played for Shamrock Rovers FC. His uncle, Tommy Farrell, also played football for the same club.
