Carolina Gaitán is a Colombian actress and singer, born on April 4, 1984, in Villavicencio, Colombia. Known in the entertainment industry as La Gaita, Carolina grew up fascinated with music and showed unique talents for singing and dancing, which little by little she polished and motivated with preparation, until she had her first experience in the medium, participating in the competition show Popstars , on Canal Caracol, where she turned out to be the winner. Thanks to this, she joined the pop group Escarcha, with whom she published two studio albums. Seeking a career as a soloist, Carolina began to focus her interest and effort on acting, preparing at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in New York City. In her role as an actress, Gaitán is known for her participation in series such as Las hermanitas Calle (2015), Without breasts there is paradise (2016-2018) and MalaYerba (2021), among several others.
